The 4th of July is pointless without fireworks.

Seriously yall. This is the 1st time that I can think of in my 33 years that fireworks have been completely banned in the Austin area. I know this drought is worse than the dust bowl but I ain't got crap to do! We were really looking forward to taking our daughter to see her 1st fireworks show.

Tommy keeps telling me there is supposed to be a laser show somewhere but I dont know how you would see lasers w/o smoke. And I don't know how you get a lot of smoke w/o fire... so we have the fire issue again.

ANYWAY So what do you have planned instead?

Cuz I needs a plan B.
