I'm Miranda, I grew up in Houston (aka HELL), and I should warn you - I don't live up to the "groupie" part of my name very well, hence the "good." I'm just a girl that loves and lives on music. I will come to your show, sing along to the songs, come say hi after your set and then leave you alone - because there's a million other girls just like me and I get that.

I have a blog where I write about my musical adventures. (and sometimes misadventures - see: ACL 2010...) It's thegoodgroupie.blogspot.com - check it out from time to time.

Things you should know:
I adore the Beach Boys and consider Brian Wilson to be God.
When I'm not listening to music, my nose is stuck in a book usually. I read everything.
If I weren't a writer, I'd want to be a pastry chef because I love to bake and cook.
But my dream job is to be the drummer of an all-girl band. (Which will never happen because I can't drum.)
I'm a Gilmore Girls junkie and have a Gilmorism for everything.
I have slightly unhealthy obsessions with Conan O'Brien and Alton Brown - I love their senses of humor.

I'm hard to miss - tall blonde with glasses, so if you see me at a Quiet Company show come say hi. I'm quiet, but I do like making new friends - esp. when I already know they listen to awesome music.
